WEDDING VOWS

To personalize the occasion, we wrote our own wedding vows and performed them together during the beach ceremony

KEITH: I promise to share my hopes and thoughts and dreams with you. I promise not only to listen to you, but also to hear you. I will remain committed to you and faithful to you, and I will always be honest with you. I vow to help you, support you, and share life's responsiblities with you. I promise to value and respect you, to appreciate you, and not to take you for granted.

LAUREN: I also make those promises, and I recognize that although we are coming together today as one, we still remain individuals. I will give you space when you need it and respect your independence. I will accept your imperfections and faults while learning to accept my own.

KEITH: I, too, make those promises.

TOGETHER: I share a commitment to build a family with you. The values that brought us together will continue to play an important role in our lives now and in the future. I will always try to do right by you and our family.

KEITH: I will try to remember that it's the little things that make relationships last. I will try to choose my battles carefully when we do not see eye-to-eye and recognize that it is NOT important to be right all the time.

LAUREN: I, too, make those commitments. Compromise will be key to our relationship. I will respect your wishes when something is more important to you than it is to me, and I will work with you to compromise when something is equally important to both of us.

KEITH: I, too, promise to compromise.

TOGETHER: I promise to love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I promise to love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but also for what you are making of me. I promise to love you for the part of me that you bring out.

TOGETHER: May we grow--our lives forever intertwined--our love bringing us closer.
